anyone have the bomz short ram intake?
i see these intakes going for $40-$55 after shippin on ebay.........anyone ever used them with good results.
it seems that only difference in the aem/k&n vs the knock offs aqre the quality of filter, which you car replace....
will these bomz intakes case the CEL to go off?

i'm talking from a functional standpoint, what the differences are?..it seems the airfilter is of different quality, but the intake itself is fundamentally the same..whats the real difference....because of course 45 and 225 is quite the price differnce

AEM use silicone coupler, while the cheap stuff use rubber hose, which woud deform and cut
AEM's tube end are beam rolled to prevent your filter/intake falling off.
powercoated finish
CARB EO number
FILTER
and yeah, AEM actually dyno their product, their stuff is garentee to gain some power, not like some taiwanese knockoff which would be a hit or miss
