anyone have small dents removed?
I now have a small dent (shallow about the size of my thumb) on the driver side rear fender. It is a noticable location unfortunately. Looks like the door of an SUV maybe got me. The paint is only lightly scratched.
Does anyone have experience having small dents "popped"? I have been told that they can freeze the metal and use a vacum to fix these dents. Has anyone had a Honda dealer do this?
Thanks for the help!

I've had many dents fixed by Paintless Dent Professionals in Irvine, CA, by the owner Rich. Honda S2000, Miata. Appears that the dent never happened. Highly recommend going this method, but find a shop with experience.
Just did Dentpro here in CA a few weeks ago. Great work, but if the paint is damaged, they can't fix that. So depending on how badly the paint is scratched, you may have to get it repainted and pulled at a shop. Ifs its only minor, minor paint damage then should be able to get it out no problem. Oh yeah, and its cheaper the more dents you have

Y2K+++S2K,
I had a dent in the same place as you I think. A young girl scraped my wheel and it the panel right in front of the rear driver's side wheel. I was going to go to paintless dent removers, but instead went to a shop that does the "highdollar cars" such as Porsches and Merc. Benz. (because there was a noticable scratch in the paint , kinda like a bear claw scratch.) Well, turns out he couldn't blend the paint on the panel and had to paint over on the door some and feather it in all the way to the middle of the door. Upon all this he had to clear coat it again. This was the main thing I was not thrilled about, because I know wherever you stop there will be a white film. Since I didn't want to risk taking off the lining around the convertable top (to paint under it) and not be able to reattach it, he just a painted right up to the edge. In the end it looks allright, but like I said there is a white film (small) around the top of door and rear quarter panel and inside the door handle cracks. The job costed around $500.

So how does this dent removal work? Do they have to take the panel off, or do they do it with the panel still on the car?
I have a door ding (from four hours after I bought it, caused by a BMW 7-hundred something) but I have been afraid to take it in to be fixed, 'cause I don't want them taking the panel off.
