I don't know if honda designed the top. Taking a look at other convertibles with glass rears, the design is pretty similar, so it is probably out sourced. MY00 & MY01, you guys should raise heck because I've seen Cavaliers, Stratus, and a couple other cheap Domestics with glass rears

I go out for a couple micro-brews and before I return the race has started without me. Its official...

S2000 OWNERS,

START YOUR LETTERS.

THE GREEN FLAG IS WAIVING.

LETS HOPE WE ARE ALL WINNERS!

Gowgom, thanks for the letter - your professional style was a dead give away. I guessed you were a lawyer as soon as I read it.

I'll repost the sample letter in my first opening remarks... as suggested.

To all those writing, please feel free to "modify" the draft to include your own personal feelings, thoughts, experiences, expectations, etc.

I think that was a good suggestion to include your VIN # as well, as that adds more credibility to your request.

Do send out all the cc copies -- we need to draw as much attention as we can quickly throughout the whole Honda organization.

Does anyone know how much postage is required to send a letter to Japan? If so, please advice us.

So far there are a few hundred of us who are aware ..... keep spreading the word and encourage the letter campaign.

If you feel strongly about it, I encourage you to email and/or call Honda as well.

Ok, I'm in also. I cut and pasted the letter into Word, printed them out and will send them off today!

I've now edited the original post to include the principal ideas... check it out and if I missed anything let me know. As soon as I hear what postage to Japan is, I'll add that as well.

My proof reader found a small typo in the sample letter, which I corrected in the opening post.

Was - When the convertible top is lowered and stored, the rear plastic window wrinkles due to way it folds.

Now - When the convertible top is lowered and stored, the rear plastic window wrinkles due to the way it folds.

Someone should find out who we could mail a consumer concern to at NHTSA, I think it would add a lot to the overall 'power' of the letter.
