Anyone interested in a Nav unit for their car?
I'm about to buy a Blaupunkt navigation head unit to replace the s2k's stock head unit. The unit is the same size as the stock head unit but combines a receiver/CD player/changer controller/and CD-Rom based street navigation.
The best price I've found is $800 plus $150 for a regional CD-ROM.
I've posted a thread in the group buy section to see if anyone else wants to get one and thus increase our buying power.

I gotta say, Blaupunkt is really crap. I've never used this nav system, but I just returned a high-end blau MD player because it had background noise on the MD circuits (not on radio). Also, the knobs and buttons were flimsy and wobbly. (For the record, Pinky tried to warn me against buying it.) I've looked at this nav unit, and it's probably fine, but make sure you fiddle with it in person first.
Let us know what you think.

I'm getting the eclipse system with dvd, gps, and voice activation, and a 6.5" screen on the drivers side sun visor for dvd, and a 6.5" on the passenger side for dvd and ps2. Then new cabin speakers and a 1500watt 10" sub in the back, all Eclipse. Needless to say, I'm getting sponsored
But this is of course all after performance mods.
