Hey guys,

Ever since I had the car the cig lighter was like this, But I realized like 2-3 days after I had it home. I'd like to fix it myself, Rather then some honda tech messing with my interior. It seems like it should screw into something right? I don't know...

EDIT: I took out the cig lighter to show everyone. I can put it back in if i wanted to but It will just come out.

here take a look...

btw here is my baby, bravin the cold weather of ny in the cave

and here is what it looks like outside, hail/snow/rain blah.

Thanks guy/gals

I'm confused. Can't you just push the assembly back in?

lol, Obviously,

I could push it back in. But it doesn't stay, It rattles and will just pull out if you try to.
I took it out so everyone could see what I'm talking about

Here's what you have to do

remove the lower door sill panels on both sides.
remove the rear lower and upper panels in the back They overlap there's a couple screws, you don't need to remove the boot clip. then loosen your console cover hteres screws under there. Then the screws in the glove box and the secret compartment.

With all that off or loose (great time to clean it and it's easy to do) just gently lift on the rear console reach under and screw it back tight there's a ring there that screws on it that may be inside.

If you find you have to completely remove the rear console, you have to take off the two plastic trim pieces in the back they snap on. but you shouldn't need too.

Be sure and check you connections etc before you put it back together.. The whole thing will take you a bit over an hour.

Actually it's very easy just a couple screws everything else just snaps on and off.

sounds complicated but it's not
