Anyone know how to remove the center snaps from the back of the bulkhead?
I'd like to remove the two center snaps from behind the bulkhead where the tonnea cover latches on.
They rub against my top, and I can see that over time will cause damage. I tried taking a wrench to them, but they
just spin in circles. Does anyone know how to take them off??

It's not easy. This is the first time that I've heard of this as a problem - I haven't had any issues with top wear at those points.
In order to remove the center-most "convertible top cover male hook" (per Helm manual), you must remove the roll bar upper trim assembly. In order to do that, you must first remove the rear side trim and rear console (where the storage compartments are located). In order to do that, you must first remove the center console (what your right arm rests on), the rear tray (retracted roof sits on this) and the roll bar lower rear trim (behind the seats). Trunk liners and the spare must be removed in order to get the rear tray out. Taking the seats out first makes the whole thing easier. *Don't try to do this without following the correct steps as outlined in the Helm manual.*
IMO, it's not worth it.

Part of the problem is that I have a glass rear window top
(retrofit). Maybe I'll cut them off. I'll call the body shop later
today possibly to inquire if they have a suggestion.... I wonder
if the other two snaps are sufficient to hold the tonnea cover
in place?

OK, the decision is made. This saturday they get cut off!
I'm too weak in the knees to take anything that cuts to my
baby. The autoshop has agreed to cut and polish them for me.
They have been top notch throughout the whole conversion
Its funny, I've never been so concerned about a car before...
