I've had the same luck, I even have the "official" dealer information that does not state it. I know that the engine weighs 326lbs without accessories...does that help? He he. How about the smog index of .48? He he. Ignore me, I'm in one of those moods.

I have never seen this info but IMO should be pretty high (top down) considering there is a nigh-day difference in acceleration over 60 mph with the top up and down. Not to mention top speed.

I'm not at home right now (with my manual), but the service manual has it. I don't remember if it's .32 or .34....34 I think...

Oops, that's top up, no info on top down...

Alright, now I can't find the damn info...BUT I'd entered it at .31 in Cartest, so I think that's what I found it to be....

I rememeber seeing .31 somewhere.

Some people have raised some doubts however and said it should be around .37.

I am quiet sure it is .31. That would explain the crazy speeds some people are reachning while the M coupe and M roadster suck crap at high speeds being .37 and .42 respectively.

Sev,
Do you run the quarter mile with your top up or down?

Top up. We are not allowed to run at the dragstrip here with the top down ...

I have tested the difference on the 1/4 between top up and down, and it seems to cost about .10 - .15 on the 1/4.

Don't know about cd, but car and driver's comparison test between the S2000, Boxter, M roadster, and SLK 230 had top speed numbers for top up and down. The S2000 went 147 and 135. The Boxter went 147 and 131, the SLK went 140 and 133. The M roadster hit a governed 140 with the top up or down.
