I know it sounds odd but it's on Honda's Japanese website. Unless someone has heard something it looks like we'll have to wait until Honda tells us. Maybe some new techology that we'll see in the upcoming NSX engine.

...now Ford will be scratching their heads for another 14 years...

I think honda eventualy wants to get rid of cams in their engines and make a fully electronic system of control valve timing...

 

A lot of manufacturers want to do this. BMW is close to releasing an engine with no throttle body.

 

How do they plan on controlling air flow?

 

I believe it's by controlling the intake valves.
