Default Anyone not drive an S2000 before buying one?

I'm looking to buy mine in the US, but have yet to drive one. As strange as it seems, I feel like there is no need for me to do so. People think I'm nuts, but for some reason, I can't imagine any way I wouldn't like it. I drove na RX-8 and while I liked it, I didn't love it. I found the suspension too soft, but I did like the RWD. I drove a Miata, nice handling, a little soft still and not enough power. I booted around in my friends Integra Type-R, amazing suspension and handling, but I didn't like the feel of nearly 200 horses through the front wheels. Audi T-T, wife loves it, I didn't like it all that much, wasn't nearly as nice around the corners as the Type-R. If I get the chance to drive an S, great, but even if I don't, I'll probably buy one anyway.

So, will I be the only to have bought one without driving it? The only thing may be if I fly down to pick it up, I would drive it then, but it's too late, Iwould have already paid for it

I hadn't driven one before I got mine. I'd sat in one, but that's it.

It's difficult to get a test drive in an S at a Canadian dealership. Most don't have them on their lots. About the only way you'll be able to test drive one before you buy (if you want to) is to look for a used one in your area.

Same with me. The seller let me take it home and get it checked out by my mechanic and smogged before he got any money. We had only 6 emails between us before we met up and agreed to terms.

I was sold within a mile of driving it....

I test drove a my03, and then convinced myself into purchasing a my04 through the internet. So in a ways i didn't test drive my car when purchasing it.

I test drove one at a dealership, but was sold before I drove it. I did not buy that S (I tried to, but the dealer wouldn't deal.) When I found a deal, I bought without test driving it at all.

I test drove mine even though I knew I was gonna buy it (MY00). I made sure to test drive MY02 just to make sure it rode well.

I think it would be interesting to buy a car without ever driving it prior to purchase; I'll certainly never do that though because I don't think any vehicle can make me happeir than my "S".

I had ridden in an '01 S2000 that my friend had borrowed for the day, but I couldn't drive stick so I couldn't really test drive the S2000 before I bought it. I just listened to all the rave reviews and ended up buying a slightly used '04 off of eBay. Someone who lived near the seller test drove / checked out the car for me and assured me it was in like-new condition. 5 months later I can drive stick just fine (not saying I'm great at it, but I can get from point A to point B) ... and I'm having a blast driving the car! Or rather ... now that its winter, wishing I could be out having a blast driving the car.

Nope. I had sat in them a few times in the past, but never drove one. I test drove mine before I signed the final paperwork though. What's funny is I never test drove a Miata before I bought one either. The first time I drove one was the day I picked it up. I remember how impressed I was with the feel of that car. The S2000 was even better (when I was allowed to VTEC ).
