Yes. Basically the inside sounds stay in and the outside sounds stay out.

Well I just got my car, drove it with both on and off. The car is 2 different cars. But I suspect now that I have taken the top off and struggled to get it into my basement. It will be there forever. I have no room in my tiny garage for it.

Did it myself...only took a couple of hours..

all you need is a hammer, screwdriver and metric socket set..

very easy with good instructions..the hardest part is tightening down the brackets evenly to remove gap..

I too built the hardtop stand as shown above...easy construction, very sturdy and works great!

Your delay has been to your benefit. HT's have never been so cheap as they are now from Hardtopguy. Most who bought earlier on, paid near retail (a hefty price tag).

I've really wanted one as well and now with the price drop from Hard Top Guy I'm hoping to finally get one!

My question is, if you install the hard top on a pre MY02, how easy is it (if at all possible) to hook up the rear defroster? MY01 doesn't have rear glass or defroster on the soft top, so will I be able to use this feature on a hardtop?

Thanks!
