I'm thinkinga bout doing this on my S2000 because I like the look of black carpet better.

I'd like to know if anyone has done this? If so, did you order factory black carpet from a honda dealer? Or did you use something like black speaker box carpet and spray adheasive, and cut it to size?

Is this a job that can be done in a weekend?

Try getting a hold of Rick from "Rick's" (funny how that works). I believe he replaced the carpeting in his S. As I recall, he did not use the factory carpet as he was able to find someone to re-do his carpet in a much better grade for less $. The factory carpet is just terrible but at least its lightweight!

 

Yup. I replaced all the carpeting in my S. I ordered the 3 pieces (left, right & center) from Majestic Honda. I think the total was ~$600, including shipping. Also, order the carpet clips. The carpet doesn't include hardware. Everything is ala carte. Its acually quite easy to install too. Good luck!
