Default Anyone tried these canards?

Ok, let me preface this by stating that I am well aware that these may or may not offer much benefit, and that I probably won't spend much time at a high enough speed to notice a difference. Now that that's out of the way, has anyone seen these canards?

GTP says they're specifically made for the s2k, and the price is right. Unfortunately, they don't have any pics of them mounted and refuse to answer my emails.

I've never seen them, but if you're looking to purchase them, I'd find another source.

You're right, they are asthetic doo-dads below 100mph. Above that, and yes, they actually work pretty well. My car, following the Spugen front lip install, handled much more stable at those speeds but after the canards were attached, the car felt like it was on rails. I was surprised because I didn't think I'd notice. On the other hand, the angle of my install is very aggressive so I definitely lost some top end, especially with the mini-drag wing in the rear which creates a bit of downforce. Don't regret the aero changes at all since the car at triple digit speeds is a joy to drive but I rarely get up that high so the fun happens only on occasion. Before the changes, at about 135mph, it began to wander a bit; afterall, it isn't the most aero sportscar design. The windshield rake is a wind blocker and bug killer extraordinare.

Marcus, have you had problems with GTP before?

Nope, no experience at all. But if they won't answer your emails it doesn't sound like it's the kind of place that deserves your money.

Russ? Why is the "FIA championship" painted on your hood? Are you paid for the advertising? Did you win the car for running a race?

Just wondering......

Not at all. I'm probably one of Honda America's most enthusiastic F1 fans and my girlfriend suggested it because she loves F1 as much as I and thought it would spark up conversations from people who didn't realize how much of a commitment Honda makes to Formula One. It sure does begin conversations at gas stations and stop lights and I have to admit, people are usually very surprised to find Honda is that involved in racing. Soooo many people, when they think of Honda, think of Accords and Civics and little else. It's just my way of letting these people know that Honda is a racing company that just happens to build great automobiles, much like Ferrari.
It'll be gone soon though when I install the carbon fiber hood.
