Anyone try Adhesive and C-Clamp with Amuse Lower Lip Gap?
Hi, just finished installing my Amuse Style Lower Lip and wonder if anyone has ever tried to use adhesive to lessen the gaps on the corners. I want to try to mix some OEM paint along with the adhesive and inject it with a needle like syringe, (from the top), followed by a C-Clamp device to hold it. Is this crazy? Or is it just to late and I'm dreaming? Thanks for any advice, Jody
I used a heat gun on mine, and it worked out great. Don't hold the gun in one place too long, but let it get good and hot. Then take the small screw out, (the one in the fender well) and put more washers in there. You may have to go to the hardware store to get more washers or longer screws, I did. I still have a gap, although it is very minimal and hardly noticable, before you could almost step though it.
