Default ANYONE with TS hood, Need Help/Advice

I had Ganley Honda order me a Seibon TS hood, to replace my stock hood, as they repair my car. The Body shop called today and said that the hood was hitting stock airbox lid, and wasnt closing properly. I told them just remove the airbox lid and I will worry about it later

Now, did ANYONE who installed a TS hood have a problem with it hitting the stock airbox??? any suggestions???
I asked them if they removed the rain channels would it help, but I dont think they understood what i meant.

So anyone who can lend some help, i would deeply appreciate it. I do not want to keep the stock airbox lid off
and now its worrying me, because when i add the mugen air intake..will it hit the hood

Thanks Again

I have a TS style hood from Seibon and installed it myself. I had no problems with it contacting the air box. I also left the rain channels on. The hood catch does lock a little low. This may be your problem. Try rasing the catch, this should give you enough room. The catch can be adjusted up or down by about 2". Hope this helps.
