I went to body shop last week to check on my car.
They opened hood for me to show me that there is NO hole for the hood prop.
The Vent covers were still on... so is it under them? If not, Where do you guys put the hood prop bar??

I have the Top Secret clone hood with the rain channels removed. There seems to be no actual place for the hood prop. I just prop it on the inside edge of the driver's side second vent. Not ideal, especially in the wind, but it works good enough. With the rain channels, you may have to dremmel out a prop hole.

 

Where did you guys get it from? I think I might do the cf hood thing and I like the ts one the best (with the rain channels)

 

I prop my hood at where the latch is - in the center front of the hood. It seems these hood did not have any cutout for the hood prop. Perhaps it's because of all the underside reinforcement they added.

Question - did anyone have any difficulties with closing the hood initially? I had to remoce a bunch of things at first because it seemed as if the hood was hitting something ... and that is after I had made adjustments to the latch. I ended up removing my strutbar, heatshield, and a few rubber stops before it closed perfectly flushed.

Got mine from Spugen. I only needed to adjust the latch assembly up a bit because the hood would not catch. I do not use the rain channels and I have the Vortech S/C.
