I am curious to know if anyone has tried or is using an Apexi V-AFC controller. If so, what kind of results are you getting? How much earlier can you get V-TEC to engage?

If you're close to Jacksonville (FL) there is a local shop here that has done at least one in an S2000 that I know of and they do excellent work.

Hey, I could take a trip down there and let them do it how long does it take? How much do they charge? E-mail me and let me know at Tims2k@netzero.net thanks Hope it's worth the money I spent.

The installation time is around 1-1.5 hours.
At least on Fito's car, lowering below 5,600 bogs down the car even after adjusting the fuel.

Tim,
I tried to e-mail you directly and it didn't work, came back undeliverable twice.
I spoke to Dwight (head mechanic at Speedcraft) and he said it would take
him approximately 2 hours and would cost about $130. He is doing mine on
Saturday and they should be receiving their Dyno the end of this week or the
beginning of next. Their number is 904 276-9720 and if you call ask to
speak to Dwight and tell him Derryck told you to call.

If you can arrange to do it on Saturday or sometime when I can be there, I
can probably save you some money on the install.
