AP1 or AP2

Default AP1 or AP2

Hey all,

A friend of mine found this gearbox. Can it be identified wheather it's an AP1 or AP2 from the photo's below ?

Yes it can be identified from that tag Give this number to the Honda parts counter guy. He/she has a book to look this number up to tell you the year of the transmission.

A quick way to determine if it is AP1 or AP2 is by the rear flange bolt size. Small bolts were used to connect the propeller shaft in AP1 cars and large bolts were used in the AP2 cars
