Default Intake Manifold

I was just wondering... how come you never hear of anyone upgrading out Intake Manifold? Haven't even really seen anything aftermarket for Intake Manifold. Is the stocker designed that well? Is the gain in power not justify the price or even make it worth getting one?

Good question. Seems to be a popular mod for the RSX-S and civic Si people.

you must not be looking. I have seen it done numerous times.

People have made custom manifolds. Then there is the Full-Racemanifold.

But they are not cheap or off the shelf available. Which is why they are not as common of an upgrade as you would see on a civic or rsx.

price to power gain ratio isn't very good, which is why I personally am not interested. A well designed manny should increase throttle response though, even if it doesn't add much power, which is enough for some people.
