Default ap1 or ap2?

I sold my sr20'd s13 and as soon as i get back to the states im buying an s2000. I am looking for some opinions and some facts. I am most likely going to keep it N/A, so i am wondering which will respond the best to BPU's, ap1 or ap2. I am not new to the car scene but i am new to s2k's.... I pretty much want a screaming slammed vtec beast... i will eventually get an AEM so the tuning wont hold me back... maybe ITB's? any help is greatly appreciated, by the way i get back in febuary so thats when ill be joining your ranks.

I have owned both. Both are great. Drive both and decide.

Test drive 'em both and buy the one you like best. The difference is a personal thing and asking all S2000 owners which one they think is best will cause a never ending discussion.

In short they are different you have to decide for yourself.

I have driven both, but the ap2 was the only one i was able to really "test" lol.... i didnt want to piss the salesman off in the ap1. does the extra torque in the f22 really make a difference you can feel? let me look for a picture of my 240......

Go drive both, and see which you prefer.

I will tell you that the AP2 is actually cheaper to insure through State Farm, despite being newer and worth more money. It has to do with the fact that a lot of the AP1s ended up getting wrecked.
