does anyone know if ap1 door panels will fit 06 ap2????

 

They won't look right - in 04 Honda redesigned the cabin and the new door panels sweep into the dash.

Technically, they both sweep into the dash. I just pulled out a set of 2000 and 2005 panels from the passenger side. They are 99% the same. Both have the same lines and general shape. The only difference is that the older panel has a slightly deeper recess for the dash than the newer one along the inside edge of the top. Specifically, the flat area that that butts up to the dash. I'm not sure if the older dash's had a more protrusive dash side.

On a separate note, I have a 2005 and have installed a MY2000 dash in my car when I did the Alcantara recover. Basically, the the same thing this guy wants to do only in reverse. I had no fitment issues with the 2005 doors matching up to the 2000 dash. Of course, things could be complete different when going the other way around. I can definitely see where things might not line up 100%

 

in fact, i just want the MG CF upper door panels. so i have to use ap1 door panels.
