I like my stock amber diffusors. And I'd prefer not to seperate my headlights anyways.

My personal preference is no amber but one thing I really don't like is a mix between diffuser and side market. Both should be the same - if the diffusers are clear, the side marker should also be clear.

US DOT requires that front side marker reflectors be amber.

Technically in most states it's illegal to have clear diffusers without an amber reflector, I've been lucky so far with mine.

I love AP1s (particularly Spa 02-03s) but I HATE the amber diffusors.

The contrast, especially on a yellow/red car is atrocious. Whites, silvers, etc. are "OK" but even then it looks dated and cheesy - moreso when next to an AP2.

The JDM/EDU cars are nice though and its amazing how a simple change can transform the look of the car. The AP1 looks and feels more like a "simple" sports car. The AP2 looks like an updated/dressier/tuner version. Were I loaded I'd own a super modified one, like JDMJay's, for track days and 'shows' - and an AP1, stockish at mountain cabin or such for attacking backroads and enjoying the sports car experience the original embodies (simple, 16" wheels, etc).

The best OEM headlights IMO are the JDM 02-03s with the optional chrome surround.

VERY Rare - especially in the US.
