I am wanting to go single exhaust but am not really a fan of the look with an AP2 bumper. I know you can put the early style rear on the newer style but is it a direct swap or does it require a bunch of modification?

 

I'm in the exact same boat, I want one so bad for my AP2. Bump.

A muppet on Ebay in the UK recently sold an accident repaired 04 Moonrock with AP1 front and rears.

 

Id seen pictures so I know its doable, just wasnt sure if any modification needed to make it fit. I have heard making the AP2 tailights fit into an AP1 was a bit of a pain so I wasnt sure if the bumpers were the same.

The holes in the wheel well of the ap1 rear bumper need to be re-drilled to fit the ap2 attachment points and the clips underneath the bumper don't fit the ap2 attachments (cause the ap2 bumper hangs lower) black zip ties work great though

 

i wish somone would make a bumper that looked like the ap2 bumper, but got rid of the second hole for the exhaust.

Damn I wish I lived in the States. I'd gladly switch one of you guys for an AP2 bumper for my AP1
