The best update for this game just launched recently and brought with it our beloved S2000 in all its original glory
Now the game features the original stock 1999 S2000 and the mighty Amuse GT1 Turbo.

 

I don't have that game, neither that Playstation. But the level of realism in VR looks awesome !

 

Took them long enough!!!

Wow, the VR is way better than I expected. My kids have been bugging me to get it for their games; I'd been violently opposed, but might have to consider it now lol...

 

I do a lot with VR (HTC Vive). Videos of it currently always look better than the real thing, but it's still damned good.

 

WOW they actually got the sound right, GT games usually sound super bad in terms of engine/exhaust audio.

I'm tempted to buy a full playstation set up now but would be a financial no no for me lol

edit: looked into the game, has pretty controversial reviews.

 

IKR! It sounds exactly like a stock S2000 does. Awesome. All I need now if my J's Racing FX70RS titanium single exit to match my real life car

The full set up is great but also unfeasible for me at this point. I'm content with controller which I've used since GT1. I can drive with the wheel though and placed second in a big GT4 competition back in '05. The game is good. The controversy may be as a result of lack of in depth mods (which I am really sad about) and the overall change in the game's core GT mode which it lacked since release. A career mode has been added since but it's not the full on GT Mode experience we've grown up with.
