Even though the AP2 taillights are LED, I still like the AP1s more. And my boyfriend has LEDs in his AP1 taillights, so I won't be losing the LED factor.

Will they fit?

I know the AP1 to AP2 conversion needs cutting (link), but couldn't find anything for the opposite.

 

You will have to cut an AP2 to install AP1 lights for the same reason that you have to cut an AP1 to install AP2 lights. The holes do not line up. Also the electical connectors are differant. You will have to mod the harness and connectors to get them to work.

 

I put some LED's into an AP1 and they might fit. you might have to drill a hole for the bolts, but they might. try it, let us know.

Yeah as for right now, I'm not sure if I want to cut my car to fit the taillights. At least it's a cut no one would ever see.
