Default ap1 vacuum noise with clutch pressed down

I drove my gf's s yesterday, it's a stock ap1 MY02 and noticed as I came up to a light a weird vacuum humming noise. had the clutch pressed all the way down at idle, and I noticed a vacuum noise from the front of the car. I released the clutch (while still sitting at the red light) and the noise disappeared. Did this several times, in , out, in , out.. and the noise was always there as I held the clutch in...

Any insight? just wanna make sure there isn't anything to worry about. . .

Thanks

This was in the under the hood forum under the FAQ.

"Problem: Rattle when in neutral / Rattle stops when clutch is pressed.
Note: Several S2000 owners have reported this."

It doesn't sound like it's a big deal otherwise there would have been a link.
