after searching through old post regarding 1st to 2nd shift difficulty, i came across tsb 05-009 which repairs "transmission pops out of 1st and 2nd gear."

symptom which describes "transmission intermittently pops out of 2nd gear on high rpm deceleration, or 1st gear while engaging clutch" rarely occurs but did happen previously. my main concern at this moment is lack of smoothness shifting from 1st to 2nd which disappears once transmission warms up after couple miles.

hence im debating whether i should or should not take my car to the dealer since reproducing such symptom is difficult. what should i do?

 

pray that it happens with a tech in the car, that's what i was told

a tech has to see it in order for Honda to cover it
