Ap2 cluster into a 01 s2000

Unhappy Ap2 cluster into a 01 s2000

Hi i have a 05 complete dash cluster harness and i was wondering if everthing will work if i put the ap2 cluster into the ap1, i see that the ap1 has 4 plugs and the ap2 has only too if i cut the wires and join them will everthing work and is everthing the same color.

that's a lot of wiring you're doing there. the harness and plugs aren't the same so it's not a plug and play. the question really is why would you want to?

the clock is built into the cluster. the tempature readout works off a sensor mounted in front of the radiator i believe. you might need to figure out how to wire that in

I must disagree, as it's most definitely nicer then the ap1 in my opinion.

Thing is, if it's not plug and play, I don't see why you'd do it either. Quite a project all for wanting a clock and temperature. Good luck!!

AP1 cluster >> AP2 cluster

My '01 AP1 has a clock (in the radio). Your '03 doesn't?

Temperature? Can't you just let the window down a bit and feel what the temperature is?

Don't do it. I thought about doing this a while back. It does not directly swap. AP1 looks better anyway.
