Install a different head unit if you'd like the time (assuming yours doesn't display it) and I don't understand the need for temperature. I mean either its too cold and you turn up the heat, its too hot and you turn up the air conditioning (or put down the top ), or its just right and a numerical reading shouldn't effect your judgment there.

Buy a digital clock and mod it to fit inside a gauge face and mount it

Umm... what about the whole 9k redline thing? I think switching an AP1 in to an AP2 car would be reasonable but not vise versa.

The AP2 goes up to 9k rpms (8-9k in red danger area as opposed to 9000-9500k in the ap1). You simply shift before you get to the top of the red.

I don't think either option is reasonable really. They are meant to be different, and each fit their model accordingly. Not to mention the hassle. Not worth it.

I guess that is true, its in the ECU? First thing that hit me was the redline.
Honestly if you want a clock, upgrade your in-dash stereo, and pop open the radio door when you are at a stop light .

ap2 cluster would be sweet. Do I really need the time and temperature? No not really. But would it be nice to have? Hell yea. It also has more bars for fuel and temperature. Some people will say its not worth the time and effort it would take for such a minor detail, but I think getting down to the nitty gritty details is what sets some cars apart and that's definitely worth it to me

[QUOTE=S2K-DJ,Feb 18 2009, 04:07 AM] I must disagree, as it's most definitely nicer then the ap1 in my opinion.

Thing is, if it's not plug and play, I don't see why you'd do it either.
