Default AP2 CLUTCH IN AP1

Can you use an AP2 clutch and flywheel in an AP1? I'm not sure. Anybody know?

Ap2 have a clutch delay, but can be removed.

What exactly is the clutch delay? And if it is something not wanted, how do I remove it?

The pressure plate and friction disk have the same part numbers, 22300-PCX-015 and 22200-PCX-055.

The flywheel has a different part number, 22100-PZX-005 for AP2 and 22100-PCX-005 for AP1. I suspect they're interchangeable.

The clutch delay valve is part of the slave cylinder, not the clutch assembly proper.

So I don't even need to worry about the clutch delay then? I was planning on getting a lightweight flywheel anyways.

the clutch delay valve is in the slave cylinder. it forces the clutch to engage the flywheel at a constant rate regardless of how fast the clutch pedal is released. Basically for a seasoned driver, it does nothing but slow you down!

Well if the plate and disk are the same parts on both AP1's and AP2's. And I use, say a Toda flywheel. Everything is good then.
