Default AP2 Front end Conversion

Okay guys, after reading through the DIY's on the under the hood section, I still have some questions on this conversion. The question is, can this be done without the use of the AP2 headlights.

First answer. YES. Bumper has nothing to do with the headlights.

Oh, the bodyshop called me up and said Honda told them that the headlights and the fendors would not mount up to the AP2 front bumper if you have an AP1

Ever read any of the storys about idiot Honda sales people?

I remember one I read on here about someone asking to drive a 07 and if one was in stock. The sales rep said they only have them in convertable (I assume the poster had a hard top).
