Default ap2 front lip

The dealer installed the AP2 OEM front lip for me. JUst came home and noticed, there is this LOOONG black rubber part IN BETWEEN the top of the lip and the bumper. It goes all the way around.
Looks pretty ugly
Is that normal?

i removed it, and installed it again myself without the rubber... screws right on... NOT as easy as i'd hoped.. takes some time, but can be done without it.

i like it much better now.

It's just a gasket. If you live in cold climes it could keep water from coming between the lip and bumper and then freezing which would now allow dirt and grime to start etching away at your bumper.
Personally I think it looks fine.
