How many of you have kept your CDV? Isn't it the most annoying thing since Paris Hilton?

I still have mine, it's really a non issue. I'd much rather just adjust my shifting than putting anymore stress on my diff. That being said, I wish the diff was stronger so the cdv was unecessary.

I did the exact same thing...Although I think a lighter flywheel would make more of an effect

from what i've heard

if you remove it, your car will still have a 'slipping' feeling, because of the overweight flywheel

the clutch is not actually slipping, but, i remember a bunch of guys saying, if you delete the cdv, you really should get a lighter flywheel

on the other hand, just dont do things you shouldnt be doing and you'll never even notice the cdv..

so the clutch isnt actually slipping? what's actually going on? I was under the impression that the pin in conjunction with the ring makes the clutch slip to keep the transmission and diff from receiving the full shock of quick gear changes...I got the CDV to engage on a 4-5 upshift, which really doesn't make any sense imho

thats exactly what it does

you should only feel the cdv if you are powershifting. like not letting off the gas to shift. or you try to dump the clutch

both of which are hell on the diff..

my one complaint with the s2000, the glass differential, what was honda thinking
