My 2 cents:

A stock car wil be drag limited, since it is not capable of overcoming the "resistance" of the air.

A few mods like I/H/E will give you enough power to do so.
I have tried it only AFTER installing the 4.57 gears and bounced off the revlimiter in 6th gear (blinked 3 times so I let off) and the speedo was showing 275kmh.
Since I have 4.57 gears I have to multiply this number by 0.8971 (4.1/4.45) and am getting the real speed of 246kmp=154mph

What I'm trying to say is, no matter what you do to your car, it will never go faster than the gearing of 6th gear "allows" you to go. Many new members get it wrong and think you can increase the top speed by adding power mods. My car has 120whp more than before my first top-speed test and I don't even need to try it again, because it's the gears stopping me, not the power.

And who needs to go this retarded fast anyway .
