maybe it's just a graphing error?

You can't compare those dyno sheets!
HP and TQ curves have different scales

Honda Tuning

Check out the dyno graph of the Civic turbo at the bottom of the page. Those lines don't cross at all.

Must be European measurement!

@ Agent

I think AP1 and 2 aren't related to the engine. The AP2 is just the facelift model from 2004. Engines are F20C and F22C.

As I posted here before, not everyone agrees on these designations. Go to Taka Kaira,
then to Performance Parts,
then to Cusco,
then to Strut bar/lower-armbar/rollbar
and then to Titanium strut bar.

AP1 = 05/99 - 10/05
AP2 = 11/05 -

I guess nobody has the definitive answer.

K.

I have a "badge" inside the engine compartment, which states Chassis Code AP1. My car is 02.2006

I guess that's my definitive answer: I should buy a 2004 or 05 S2000, with a 2litre engine, buy all the suspension goodies available for the AP1. They should fit considering what I just saw here!

Honey, I'm coming home!

What is up with this dyno? ... Torque and Hp are supposed to cross at 5252 RPM. Also, I did not know they made AP1s in 2006
The values should be the same at 5252 rpm (and they are, on this graph) but that doesn't mean that the lines should cross at 5252, since the scales could be (and are in this case) completely different. Notice that power tops out at 250, and torque tops out at 160.

I see, that explains it. I wonder why they decided to use that scale, the other way is much more universal, no?
