I can bet money that the first S2000 they tested didn't have spring spacers removed...

I'd believe that. they're easy to miss.

However, saying the porsche wins, after all that? hmm... Let's see... Better brakes, better shifter, better 0-60, better price, but the Boxter's better? whuzza? Hmm... smacks of German preference. Oh well, I know I've got the better of the two

could be or they just don't know how to drive the car

That has to be the first review I've ever read where the Boxster shifter was higher rated than the S2000's. Also how does a smaller more responsive steering wheel still get labeled "clunky". The author contradicted himself too many times to take seriously.
