I've had the intake. Definitely some super bling and really nice to look at, but that's about it. Oh, and it sounds super cool too. Some will tell you that it is prone to heatsoak, but I've used it on track days with no problem. If you're after looks, then it's definitely one to get. It fills up the engine bay and doesn't leave a huge hole like the AEM style ones.

I eventually ended up selling mine though b/c I was after the performance and not the looks. I now have a 1 piece Injen CAI. As far as performance, it's an improvement over the ARC, but it sure can't beat the look of all that shiny aluminum. But alteast I can change my oil by reaching down now. Here's a pic of how my engine bay use to look:

Search doesnt work on this board for me.

So pretty much it offers no performance inhancements? Whats the best intake to get if I want power then?

a supercharger

Really, no intake offers significant improvements over the stock intake. Increases are so minimal, that the major factor is the weight you'll save over that huge peice of plastic they give you for stock. I went with Injen b/c someone somewhere posted dynographs of where it was slightly better than the AEM. Others have different things to say. Some swear by the J's or Mugen intakes while other say to just get a cold air snorkle for the stock intake. Whatever you do, just make sure you like it. But don't spend $700 on an ARC b/c you're looking for performance.
