Default ARC Ti vs Voodoo Ti

I'm about to spring for a Ti shift knob, and need some opinions here. (searched like a madman)

Most say heavier is better, but I see many people like the ARC Ti although it's like 170 grams as opposed to the 242 grams of the OEM leather wrapped. As I peruse the older posts, I don't really see negative reviews of it despite the lightness, so ARC must have done something right with it... It's also about $40-50 cheaper than Voodoo's Ti, but at the cost of the extra weight.

Voodoo Ti is 280ish grams, and is like the holy grail of shift knobs supposedly, and also don't see anything negative besides heat dissipation.

So can any of you guys give me some insight as to which one of the two you have, and what you think? Also, i'm pretty set on these two, but maybe other Muz or Voodoo ball knobs could be considered if they are decently weighted (steel?)

Also picking up a Neuspeed x-brace as well cuz i'm set on spending some hard earned coin hehe

ARC Ti FTW! It has a nice feel and you can rest your forearm on the cup holder and shift without straining your wrist. It has a nice ::Snick snick:: feel.

I'm pretty sure you'll just get fans on both sides. I have a Voodoo Ti and really like it. Has anyone owned both to compare?

T1R over ARC. They look about the same and feel the same, but the ARC supposedly has plastic threading, so if you plan to screw and unscrew frequently it may wear down the threads.

i had the ARC and it was very nice. the only thing thati didnt like was its weight and height eventhough it wasa little countersunk. therefore i got a TWM knob that is 440g and is countersunk all the way to the shift boot.

I've had both and I honestly like the ARC knob more than my Voodoo knob, even though it was more expensive .

The Voodoo knob was one of the first things I ordered when I got my car after hearing such rave reviews about it. I had the knob on for about 7 months or so and I really liked it. It sits really low, enough for you to completely rest your forearm on the center console and shift without a problem. The knob itself is pretty big, but it looks really good and sits flush with the boot.

As I started to incorporate more heel-toe into my everyday driving, I noticed that I would sometimes grind my tranny. I guess that's because the Voodoo sits too low and didn't give me the leverage I needed to shift quick enough.

That's when I did some research and found the ARC knob . When I heard such great reviews about it and how so many people swear by them, I put my order in with Evasive and it came by the end of the week! I ordered the polished one, it look fantastic! It sits higher than my Voodoo and the ball itself is smaller. I believe the knob is also heavier, because it sits a little higher and is heavier, it gives you the perfect amount of leverage for quick throws. The smaller knob also fits really nice around your hand. I really love it!

If it were me, which it was, haha, I would get the ARC knob if want the leverage for quick shifting and the Voodoo if you want a more relaxing shift. This is just my opinion, sorry for the long post! PM me if you need more details (if this didn't bore you already haha)
