I found one on Ebay going for $89 right now. If I don't win that auction, I will buy one new for $136. That is still a little steep for just an armrest, but I think it is the best I can do. Thanks again for the help.

Before you spend/waste your money, I still suggest talking to HardTop.

They know how to take care of us.

Word to the wise.

Hi Jason,

I know this is a dumb question, considering that you're a moderator, I find it hard to believe you don't have this but...... do you have Adobe Reader?

I just click on the link in your reply and it came right up. Maybe they were down for some reason when you tried it.

Maybe I'm just wierd, but my first thought would be to get the whole thing recovered at an automotive upholstery shop. Shouldn't be more than $50, and it'll be real leather. I removed the center when replacing my carpet, and it definately seemed like that rear armwrest would come out.

I have a 2002 S2K and the black perforated armrest pad is coming off and looks disgusting. I talked to the dealer and they want $250 to fix it (I think they have to order the whole center console). Anyone have any suggestions on what to do to fix the problem? Are there any aftermarket parts that replace just the armrest pad? Thanks in advance.

No, I have it but I think the install may be corrupted. I will re-install.

Thanks

Just get the part and replace it yourself if you have to. It is so ridiculously easy to replace it. To remove the old one completely you need to remove the shift knob, disconnect the hazard and top switches and pop off the old console.

Move the cupholder and switches to the new one and replace. Reattach switches and shift knob.

It gets slightly more complicated if you have an alarm LED installed on it.
