I have a MY01 and I have noticed that on other MY01s the armrest on the console has a perforated "leather" pad for your right elbow to rest on. However, my car doesn't have the perforated "leather" pad, just a piece of black plastic with a square in the middle. I have two questions: 1.) Should my car have come with this perforated "leather" pad? (I'm guessing it was taken out by the previous owner). 2.) Am I able to buy just this piece anywhere? Thanks for the help.

 

I know this car isn't designed for total comfort, and that is not why I bought it. I simply want the optimum comfort possible. Thanks all!

 

it should have the pad.

no, you cannot buy separately. it comes with the rest of the plastic console piece. fortunately 00-03 consoles are common on ebay for the $30-$50 range
