Good job on negotiating a win/win outcome Bassman. Sorry it happened and I'm glad you confronted him. I'll bet he's more careful in the future.

What winter tire did you choose?

I finally bought the standard Bridgestone Blizzak, see that discussion in http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=2143 I probably could/should have payed a bit more and gone for their sports version (LM22) of winter tire, but the ones i got are OK unless you expect to be able to drive as on your summer tires. A bit soft/mushy in turns and lane changes though, but this is mostly a factor on dry roads. As soon as the snow comes you can't drive that fast anyway.
