i could never complain about this car's gas milage i red line - at least 4-5 times a day and i fill my tank up once a week and if i dont drive hard i can get a week and half out of it.

well how was the car before the mods?? on my supra after i modded it i would have to fill it every 2 days but thats when i use to constantly drive hard i mean full throttle everywhere and thats at 18-20 psi of boost

There is plenty of threads on fuel economy, but why don't you tell us how many miles you get on fuel tank to see if your fuel consumption is normal? I personally get about 22-23 mpg on average... which is quite good for a sports car with 240 HP....

The S2000 is also a LEV, if anyone cares about the environment.

Wait.... 2 + 2 = 4 , O.K.

Now lets see "Enthusiast" + weird post = stinks of bait

I see the connection, now I feel stupid for giving advice about our beloved S2K to a lurker.

How many times have we seen this in the last few weeks?

3000 miles and 28.8 mpg average. If you can't accelerate, why drive at 5K RPM? I like the sound, too, but if you're concerned with fuel cost/economy, shift up and get the revs down. Patience, Grasshopper.

Darn I get 17 to the gallon and I am happy. For the style of driving I do I would expect 10 maybe less.

As for my tank I have a really stupid gas gauge though, I get the empty light and have only gone through 10 gallons this has happened since day one. 20K iles and no change.

IMHO

If your question is legit, then by all means you are welcome to ask.

However if you have been watching the forum you will have noticed that many posts by "enthusiasts" have been made with clearly no other purpose than to bait and antagonize S2000 owners.

I recommend all owners to register their VIN because the enthusiast label is losing its credibility due to the actions of some.

Peace

Since I have had the S I have gotten 27 to 29 mpg. When I "get on it" the mpg drops to 25. Can't complain.
