'O2 owners,

Curious about your thoughts on the new glass rear window. Any problems?

Also, for those who owned the plastic and traded in, was it worth it? Is rear visibility better or more restricted with the smaller window?

I'd be interested in comments from those who traded...

I have never been in a '00 or '01 S2000 but I think the visibility out of the rear window on my '02 is okay. The actual window area is smaller than the area that is covered by the mirror. I get a lot more visibility from the rearview mirror with the top down.

With that said, I have gotten used to the lower visibility and don't mind it too much.

I have no problems seeing. Visibility to the rear is fine and once I got used the bulging rear quarter and adjusted the side mirrors the blind spot is nearly eliminated.

I haven't owned any other year, so hard for me to compare, but I have no probs with visibility.

And, this morning when it was frosty outside, I simply pushed the little button and in a matter of minutes the rear window was clear as day

I think Airgate is the man to ask...

the glass window is too small to give good visibility. i am always a bit nervous when i back up, especially at night.

I do....just hate poorly designed materials on a $30,000 + car. Have seen quality plastic windows on BMW's, mercedes, jeeps, and no extraordinary measures required. I've had hondas only since '82. Expected better or at least a better resolution thus far.
