Funny you should mention those. I have them, but I think they're too deep (even with the basket cut. Hence my question above.

bbsilver,

Is this better? See bottom...

Sunchild,

I'm not sure of the S's door depth. I'm thinking 2 1/4". Haven't had my door panel off yet.

I am sure I will have to lose the basket. I don't really care as long as the window goes down. Thanks for the advice, I'll let everyone know how it goes. Now, where to mount an amp that is 20" long....

Gee I thought this was for me. Oh well. As I said. "or its good and just a small company". Looks like it is very thinly distributed here in the US(only one in CT!). Plus with its super high price makes it limiting and my lack of knowlege.

As for the rest the the manufacturers I only know of Dynaaudio and Vifa. Vifa only because some guy who owned a shop came to work at our place and brought G&S and Vifa. I ended up putting a set of Vifa tweeters in my car and absolutely LOVED THEM!

pfb, what model did you get? That carmedia website has 6.5" ads components ranging from 1645.00 to 200.00. Anyone know anywhere else to get a/d/s/?
