Any news on the S2000 head project? I just read through the article on vtec.net...very interesting stuff. Is work still going on with that? The flow charts were pretty interesting. It looks like honda really did it right. It will be interesting to see what you guys can extract. Any updates would be great, thanks.

Send him a PM...but, most of this is hush-hush for now.

 

The last update I got from him was that they have pretty much finished the flow bench testing on the first head. Since it's racing season now, Joe has been working on projects for some teams and that has slowed the free work that he had been doing with UL. I believe the next steps are to get the head onto his car and tune it on a dyno. I heard rumblings that UL was testing a prototype programmable ECU from Hondata and throttle body from Erick's Racing. From what I understand, he's been pretty busy himself so you may not see a posting from him for a while...

 

I emailed him a couple weeks ago and didn't get a response... he's MIA for now.

 

The last time I had lunch with him, he was pretty much done with the head work. He's been pretty busy with the job, the stuff on vtec.net and a bunch of other projects.
