did you get it yet s2000gt?
I emailed him today and he said they made some, but they all had cracks so they are making another batch instead of sending out faulty goods.
normally I would be able to smell this as a mile away, but I have spoken with a couple of people that have dealt with this company as recently as a week or so ago - they have the goods and report they are excellent quality and well worth the money. (they got the CF version which is why they got theirs so quick).

the ebay intakes come from Hong Kong...so shipping shoul dbe roughly the same...they are only charging $60.
either way...I have my name down for one of the ebay ones - I cant see that Muz's is twice as good - and the spoon 3 times as good for that matter.
Afterall....NONE of these will give you power gains - they will just help the air flow into the engine.
The difference will be in quality of construction, fit, finish, design and possibly wall thickness. Essentially you get what you pay for. If you drop one of my intakes accidentally you might scuff the finish but it will not crack in half along the seams or anywhere else. I have seen fibreglass intakes previously that you can literally poke your thumb through. A well constructed fibreglass intake should be tough and flexible.
My intake will also fit your car properly without forcing your bonnet to sit proud of the fender on the intake side. This is a well documented problem with other intakes and 'exact' replicas.
I have also sourced a new shipper and am expecting the cost to be close to the $60 AUD mark (around $40 USD) due to a special deal I have organised with them.

Muz, I agree totally 100% with everything you say. However, just a couple of observations:
1) whilst your intake may be of a better construction, I dont intend to drop this on the floor or put my finger through it - and anyone that does quite frankly deserves it to break - should be more careful. Once its installed on the car, its just sitting there and nothing is going to happen to it - so my $180 duct looks/performs the same as a $300-450 duct.
2) whilst you do get what you pay for in this world, I like to think I get good bargains - if I really wanted the best quality products money could buy - I wouldnt have got this intake, I wouldnt even buy your intake (no disrespect), I would just go and buy the authentic spoon intake.
For all those interested, here are a couple pics of the final product I received this morning....a bargain at $180 I think you will agree.
And to answer the original question, I plan to match it with a Spoon Air Cleaner, or Sprint Air filter (depends on whether I can pick up the Spoon for a good price).
