I'm probably in as well... Unless for some odd reason I get used to the lack of visibility...

I've ordered one to confirm it is indeed the correct part. I should have it Friday (Wed here now). The only way I can confirm it was to order one as they apparently have 'picking machines' in the Melbourne warehouse and people aren't supposed to go into the warehouse in case they get hurt by a machine. 'Believe it Or Not!'

I will keep you guys posted.

And if Muz can't do it, I will attempt to pick up the opportunity. The question was asked about price......I believe the cost will be around (possibly under) $40USD shipped. This really depends on exchange rates etc..

We'll have to wait and see. Muz, if those parts are in Melbourne, then I could get them. I'm going to Melbourne and will be there on July 6.

Just let me know what the final score is when you have more info.

Cheers!

I have posted this on the "Prairie Redliners" forum and so far, I'm in for 2 left side mirrors.

I'll want one. I've subscribed to this thread, so when the final decision is made, please post ordering details. Thanks!

Dealer just rang me. At this stage it looks like there's no way I can buy from the dealer (at their price) and ship to the US at the price (or less) that the Hondarec guy does it for. Dealer markup must be just too high I guess.

Sime - parts come from Melbourne but I'm sure you still have to go to a dealer to buy them. Perhaps dealer prices vary in different locations but I couldn't imagine why.

Has anybody contacted a Honda dealer or representative in the US to find out if there is any way that we could get a source for these mirrors on this side of the Pacific? I'd call or e-mail, but I have no idea where to start. It seems like starting with a dealer would be sort of futile since if the part is not in their ordering system, they obviously can't get it. Any ideas?
