Baby seat in ap1?
The larger/simpler point is people make decisions and are responsible for themselves. If you're worried about your kid, do what you want, and don't worry about someone else's. Perhaps you need to start some safety seminars in mexico where people are squeezed into a car and people ride freely in the back of pickups.
Have a good weekend.

Hope you have a good weekend too.
This subject is very personal and subjective. I have a three year old daughter, and care very much for her safety. I would let her ride in my S2000 with a front facing booster seat when she's 4 or 5 if I can disable the air bag. That is my personal opinion, and the result of my evaluation of the risk/reward involved in this decision. I am not of the belief that the federal government, state government, or a simple majority of other citizens should have any authority to make this decision on my behalf. The original purpose of our union, and our government was to protect liberty, not impose the will of 51% on the minority (tyranny) or the will the governing class.
A reasonable person who cares for their family and is mentally sane can decide the proper precautions to take when transporting their children.
The unfortunate part of all of this is I live in California. In Santa Monica at the beach they even have signs stating you are in a "Tsunami Zone". Nanny state at it's best. Like you need to be reminded to move to higher ground when a 20ft wave is coming at you? No, let's try and surf it Cali style.

Agreed...everyone (generally speaking) in this country seems to be so quick to judge and hate. Let people do their own thing. So long as they're not putting their kid on the hood of their car, or who the heck cares? We're always judgomg people's sex lives, their personal preferences...their parenting skillz.. sheesh.
By the way the manual on my AP2 (04) does show how one would attach a baby seat to the front. Though I skipped that section since I don't have kids.
