Default Back into the fold....

So after 2.5 years of driving my Evo 8 after giving up my 2001 AP1, I've decided to come back to the S2000. I've done my share of keeping up with the S2K times...but I was looking for some real world feedback on an AP1 vs. an AP2. I know what the basic differences are, but I'm curious to find out from those of you that went from the AP1 to the AP2 if there was a huge or even noticable difference.

I think my main reason for this question is that an AP1 can be had for low 20s with low milage vs. mid to high 20s for an AP2.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

*edit* I should add that I am looking closely at the performance aspects.

ap1 is more raw of a car, ap2 is more tamed. i have an 06 so it came with all the goodies but id say go with the ap2, looks wise i think its better. i mean the 9k rev sounds good too.

ok im probably no help but thats just me

Agreed, this is the impression I get as well. I definitely love the changes on the exterior of the AP2.

when i test drove both i decided on the ap2 because i thought it looked better and the ap2 was new, but i also liked how it felt more torquey. I think a lot of it could come down to personal preference though. Both are amazing cars and i am sure you would be happy with either.

I like the lights and rear bumper of the AP2 better, but that's about it.
