Thanks guys My exhaust came in today. Gonna have a friend help me throw it on Saturday afternoon. How hard is it to install an INVIDIA Q300? I've install CAI's before but never an exhaust. I know it's just a few bolts but I've read where some people have had fitment issues and hanger issues with this exhaust. Any opinion on this or is it something that I can handle?

Nice car. I have an 08 NFR with 6K miles and I love it. Right now it's on the Battery Tender and it has been this way for 2+ weeks now. It has never seen rain and tomorrow should be clear so maybe I will drive it too work (or maybe not). As for the exhaust, I have changed single exhausts on Hondas but not a dual on an S. If it were me, I would get some good penetrating spray (PB Blaster, as an example)and use it on any bolts, etc. that need to be removed. But, the most important thing is if you do not have access to a professional vehicle lift, make sure that you have the car properly supported and stabilized. A few years back, a member in the SoCal S2K community had an S that he was working on collapse and he tragically lost his life. You can probably look online and find the proper way to do this. Enjoy your NFR!

if you have a basic understanding on how to turn a ratchet, its very easy...the hangers can be a pain, but just grease them to help slide them on...oh, and have a can a penetrating oil too just in case...it can be a life saver on stubborn bolts

edit: i didnt have any fitment issues with mine, but i also have an AP1...i did hear that AP2's have a little bit of an issue, but i dont know first hand

I'm not entirely sure why I did it but I rushed myself into buying it when I did. I wanted an S so bad so instead of being patient and finding the right one, I talked myself into one I wasn't 100% happy with. It had a few dings here and there and scratches. No spoiler, no nothing really. I liked it but I didn't LOVE it. Anyways, I ended up eventually with a 08 Civic SI coupe. Loved it. Only car I ever owned for more than 2.5 years. April 2008 until November 30 2012. Was close to paying off (1 year) and started looking at s2000's again. Well, this time I was patient. I searched and searched and found one. a 2007 Formula Red with only 15,874 miles. Never touched the rain, always garage kept, 1 owner, no dings, no scratches, and has a spoiler. I drove 4 hours to purchase this car and I still have not wiped the smile off my face.

I am finally back in an S and don't just like it, I "love" it. Already tinted the windows, installed a nice headunit in it, ordered a Invidia Q300 exhaust and will be purchasing the lower front OEM bumper kit/lip to go on it soon. I missed this car so bad it's not even funny. Good thing gas in tennessee as of today was $3.20 for premium Insurance only went up $15 a month too for same coverage. As my first post, I just wanted to shout out my happiness haha. I thought I'd regret getting rid of my SI because that car was the best car I ever had, but it just didn't feel "manly" enough lol. I get looks everywhere I go in this S. Car feels rare to me and hopefully it will be in my future for a long time.
1. It was such a pleasure to read your post; it's been 2.5 yrs. since I bought my 04 with less than 9k miles; I was going to buy one with 90-100k miles for $10k, but I found mine that was perfect, and spent double the money, and I have not regretted it at all. (And, I'm a cheap-arse! ha!)
