Default backed up into my car

So my car was parked out front and some dude backed his pos 15 year old lexus in it and begins to say that it was to low and he couldn't see it. I was like its fukin yellow, u saw it because u drove in front of it and backed up into it.
Anyways got his info.
Its a small ass dent that you can only see up close like if u looking hard. U cant see it from 4 feet away.
Should i be a dick and use his insurance to replace the whole bumper or just say eh and forget about it.

by the way the bottem of my bumper is all scratched from curbs and stuff.

If the guy was a dick to you, **** him. Go for broke.

If he was sincere and apologetic, I would have tried to settle it privately since it's only a small dent as you said.

Sorry to hear your car was hit in any event.

Haha my brother backed up into my spa with my dad's LR3. Ripped a nice line up my hood, even put a hole in my valve cover! Not sure what the laws are in CA but I know in NJ if its over 500 bucks then you are going to go through insurance. If it were me I'd look around for a replacement at a decent cost and ask him to give you the cash, or at least 3/4 of it since yours is already scratched up as you say. Who knows, if he gives you a couple hundred bucks you could go get yourself a nice aftermarket one? Or a second hand from another S2ki member, plus a front lip?

You have several options in this case as its not completely destroyed but barely noticeable.

If actually gave those excuses and was unapologetic then I'd say get that sucker repainted.
